Jett Banes placed 5th in the Run the Dog Pound meet in Magnolia. He ran a fast time of 16:16 over 5 kilometers. Haydely Flores led the JV girls and Garel Miranda led the JV boys.
The CCHS Student World Affairs Council attended an event with Retired FBI Special Agent in Charge, Christopher Combs, who discussed his experience as the FBI On-Scene Commander at the Pentagon during the 9/11 attack. In addition to learning the details of that fateful day, the students also heard fascinating aspects of the rescue and cleanup operations that followed.

The girls’ water polo team celebrated a remarkable 10-3 victory, while the boys’ team emerged victorious with an impressive 18-6 win against Chavez High School! Congratulations to the Panthers for their outstanding performance!

The Panther Cross Country Team raced at Spring Creek Park this weekend. The team of Jett Banes, Hunter Gray, Erik Castillo, Aiden Pinto, Johan Zamudio and Xander Boulanger placed 3rd in a field of 15 Varsity teams. Jett led the way with a 7th place finish. The Freshman Boys Team took 2nd place as a team. Luis Ocanas WON the race and Erik Portillo and Eduardo Sanchez both placed.
