The Cross Country team competed in the Galveston Beach Run. Both the JV Boys and the Freshman Boys WON their division as a team. The JV Boys team was lead by Emiliano Cuevas with a 10th place finish. Brayan Ferretis and Esteban Sanchez also medaled in the race. Luis Ocanas was 1st place in the Freshman race. Other placers include Erik Portillo, Eduardo Sanchez, Leandro Gomez and Michael Sorto. Varsity placers include Mariana Benitez, Erik Castillo and Hunter Gray. Congratulations to these Panther Runners!

After-School Tutorials & STAAR Support Begin Next Week!
Caney Creek will begin offering after-school tutorials and STAAR support next week. Tutorials are available for students who need additional academic support, while STAAR support is specifically available for students who were unsuccessful on a STAAR End-of-Course exam last school year.

Mondays & Wednesdays: Math and Science
Tuesdays & Thursdays: English and Social Studies
Time: 2:30–4:00 p.m.
Location: Students must report to the small cafeteria by 2:30 p.m. to sign in.

Important Transportation Reminder: Late bus passes will NOT be provided. All students attending after-school tutorials or STAAR support must have transportation home at 4:00 p.m.
