Student Council has earned top recognition at the state and national level for the third consecutive year. They have recently been awarded the National Gold Council of Excellence award by the National Association of Student Councils. This is the highest level of achievement that a Student Council can earn, and CCHS StuCo is 1 of 82 councils in the state of Texas to be recognized at this level.
Student Council recently returned from their annual state conference held in San Antonio, bringing with them awards for Outstanding Student Council in all reporting areas, and Sweepstakes for the 2025-2026 reporting year.
