Caney Creek will be on block schedule for MAP testing Sept. 1st-4th. Students with late arrival and early release need to pay close attention to the times and periods in the schedule.
Sept. 1 & 3 - 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th
Sept. 2 & 4 - 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th
🔥 Caney Creek BBQ Team is firing up! Students: join us Aug. 21 during all lunches at our booth in the small Cafe. Community partners: help launch our team through sponsorships or in-kind donations! 🐾
After-School Tutoring will begin on September 14. Tutoring will take place from 2:45–4:00 PM, and students must have a ride home. Late bus passes will NOT be issued for tutoring. Students planning to attend tutoring should report to the small cafeteria at 2:35 PM to sign in.

Eric Tanner was recently awarded the Drs. Emil and Anna Steinberger Excellence in Holocaust Education award by the Holocaust Museum Houston in order to recognize the incredible work he is doing, " to educate students and keep the memory of the Holocaust alive." Mr. Tanner is a regional leader developing Holocaust education courses and supporting newer teachers, and it is exciting to see his efforts recognized.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest Panthers to Caney Creek High School! To kick off the day, our new teachers took on a campus scavenger hunt, giving them a fun way to learn their new home.
From building a human pyramid in the gym to stopping by the PLC room and even sharing a dad joke with Dr. Stichler, there were plenty of laughs and great memories made along the way.
We're excited to have such an incredible group joining the Caney Creek family. Here's to an amazing 2026–2027 school year! #BelieveInTheCreek
