Donna Hounihan

Hey, Creek! I am the Associate Principal of Instruction. 2023-24 is my 21st year in education and I am happy to have called Caney Creek home for 13 years.  I’m a proud U.S. Army Veteran, a University of Houston alum(Go Coogs!), and have masters degrees from Lamar University and Mississippi State University.

I love the quote from Carol Commodore which states “What I learn today doesn’t make yesterday wrong, it makes tomorrow better.”

This is my favorite quote because I feel like this is what we do here at the Creek, continue to learn and grow every day so that we can provide a better education for all students.
