The Academy of Science and Technology (AST) opened in 1990 as Conroe Independent School District's first Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Academy. AST serves families who are located in the attendance zones for College Park, Grand Oaks, Oak Ridge, and The Woodlands high school feeder zones. . The campus is by application process only, and is located inside of The Woodlands College Park High School

PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST VISIT THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE TO SIGN STUDENT OUT OR FILL OUT FORM FOR STUDENT DRIVERS (ONLY) TO ALLOW STUDENT TO LEAVE CAMPUS.

Contact the CPHS Registrar's Office following registration or with any questions or concerns.

PLEASE NOTE: The Academy of Science and Technology is an application only program of choice. There is NO direct registration for AST.

Change of Address

If you change your address and/or work, home, cell numbers or email address, please notify the school registrar in writing as soon as possible.

In order to change a student’s address, you must bring proof of residence to the registrar’s office. If your child rides the bus, they are not allowed to ride the new bus until the address has been changed on campus. Parents will need to contact CISD transportation to register for the new bus.
This can take up to 48 hours.
